Turn Your Fog Lights On!

Today is a cloudy, rainy and foggy day.  It’s March and Pisces season.  When the Sun travels through the sign of Pisces, it is an ending to a cycle and a time to slow down, breathe, relax and tie up loose ends, as opposed to living in the stress of everyday life.  There will be plenty of time to initiate action toward your future goals when the Sun moves into Aries at the end of the month, as Spring arrives.

For now, take a little time to escape from the daily grind and enjoy some down time.  Connect with your Spiritual side, read a book in the middle of the afternoon, listen to some music when you get home from work, meet some friends for dinner, play board games with kids, journal, learn to meditate, join a yoga class, get a massage.  Just sit and do nothing.  Appreciate what you have and all those in your life that you love and just breathe.  Do not feel guilty!

Feel Like You’re on a Hamster Wheel?

Astrologically, these are wild times.  I’ve been feeling like each morning I get on a hamster wheel and go, go, go, yet, go nowhere, and that makes me feel like a victim.  Sometimes it takes a few days before I stop long enough to pay attention and tune in to how I’m feeling… bored, blah, angry, resentful.  Once I can identify the darkness inside of me, I will usually go for a walk and re-mind myself of how lucky and blessed I am, and of all that I have to be grateful for.

I will look around at the beauty of my surroundings and the smells of flowers and ocean jay-wennington-2810-unsplashair and I will slowly shift into feelings of balance and calm.  That is one of many actions that I take to feed my Soul.  I’ve been practicing this for some time now and I don’t usually stay down the dark rabbit hole for long but, I’m human, so I will take a dip every now and then!

The intensity of shifting energies in the world around us will easily infiltrate your physical, emotional and spiritual bodies if you are not awake.  How adept are you at noticing what energy/emotions are yours and what arrows are coming at you from the outside?  As humanity yearns for peace and harmony, we all have to do our individual part in making that future happen.  Many people ask me how they can make an effective contribution towards human equality and freedom.

It’s easy to wander into the atmosphere of fear but the challenge humanity faces at this mayur-gala-487-unsplashhistoric time, is to travel, not far and wide, but on a journey within to nurture, heal and expand our own love center.  Getting off the hamster wheel by choosing to connect with your heart, forgive the past and feed your soul, will significantly make a difference in your world, as well as, the world around you.

YOUR PERSONAL VIBRATION

jaime-serrano-70609-unsplashDuring the Hold On phase, which comes after we have decided to change or let go of something in our life that has been a “thorn in our side”.  We are in a state of transition.  It is a time when your resiliency and resolve are tested.  Therefore, hold on, don’t let the False Self sneak back in and spew the old messages that created those conditioned patterns of behavior.  Don’t go back to being part of the walking dead, which is, living an unconscious life. MOMENTUM

chuttersnap-381966-unsplashThrough conversations or consultations, many people have asked me why they can’t keep the momentum of maintaining a higher vibrational state of being.  The answer is simple, life pops in and reality takes over.  What does this mean?  When we want new circumstances to appear in our life and we can imagine how wonderful if feels to have them, we feel great.  We know how to initiate the love words and change negative thoughts throughout the day to keep our vibration lifted.  If your outer life circumstances are not too challenging, then keeping the momentum is fun.   Continue reading “MOMENTUM”

COMING HOME

samuel-zeller-358885-unsplashHere is an article I wrote for Spirit of Change magazine in the fall of 2014.  My caregiving role has finished and I am free to move forward in this new direction.  All of our ultimate goals are to symbolically come home…to ourselves  My intention for this Blog journey is to be a guide on your own journey home.

Article:  I turned age 65 in May, 2014.  I am now considered a senior.  Two years ago, I left my professional life and home in Arizona and moved into my parent’s home in Massachusetts to care for them.  They have lived in their home since I was in second grade.  Moving into my childhood home felt a bit unsettling, but I knew it was the right thing to do at that time in our lives.  Little did I know that this job was going to take me on a physical, emotional and spiritual roller coaster ride.
